By way of Enclosure 37, the plaintiff is seeking from this court to have a protective order imposed over the documents they intend to produce pending the determination of this action, allegedly so as to protect the confidentiality of those documents. In this aspect, it seems trite that the court has the power to grant a protective order by virtue of its inherent power. Pursuant thereto, the court finds a protective order is necessary in order to protect the plaintiffs' commercial interests and prevent their competitors from accessing them. In light of the same, Enclosure 37 is therefore allowed with costs in the cause.
