Land Law 1 Land ownership and equitable occupation rights. The plaintiff, as registered proprietor of four parcels in Kampung Chubadak Tambahan, sought vacant possession and injunctions against 224 defendants occupying the land. It was held that the defendants failed to prove any licence, consent or equitable interest capable of defeating the plaintiff’s indefeasible title under section 340 of the National Land Code. The case of Sentul Murni decided earlier was distinguished on its facts. The defendants who accepted PPR housing were bound by their statutory declarations. Judgment was entered for the plaintiff with vacant possession and mandatory injunctions. 1
